SIP Presence A SIP Presence Server accepts SIP PUBLISH sessions from users who announce their current state (Busy, Away from Desk, On the Phone). SIP Presence is an application of SIP and is not part of the core RFC3261 protocol.

Fundamentally, there are three main approaches when it comes to performing computations. At one end of the spectrum we have a single, humongously large processor; at the other end of the spectrum we have a massively-parallel conglomeration of extremely fine-grained functions (which some may call a great big pile of logic gates” ); and in the middle we have a gray area involving multiple medium- and coarse-grained processing elements. Configurable cores can be modified at the instruction set level to accelerate specific algorithms and applications. The speed, area, and power consumption are affected by the specific configuration used by the core licensee—which means that these performance metrics generally won't be known until after the core has been chosen. Thus, it can be difficult to confidently predict the performance you'll get in a given application.

The anycast addresses are allocated from the unicast address space. There is little oper-ational experience with this address type, although a few usage examples are provided in RFC 3513.
